Child Killed in San Jose Pedestrian Crash Near Camden and Kooser
SAN JOSE, CA (July 9, 2021) – A child pedestrian was killed after a crash near Camden Avenue and Kooser Road in San Jose.
According to The Mercury News and KRON 4 News, the tragic accident took place on Friday afternoon. Officers reported the collision between 5 and 5:45 p.m.
San Jose police said for an unknown reason, a vehicle struck the child pedestrian crossing the street. The driver hit the juvenile near the intersection of Camden Avenue and Kooser Road.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found the victim who ended up suffering from major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed the young patient to a hospital, where they died. Meanwhile, police affirmed that the motorist stopped, stayed at the site and cooperated with the authorities.
Officials forced the area of Camden Avenue and Kooser Road to shut down following the collision. The cause of the fatal San Jose pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
