41-Year-Old Man Killed in Car Accident
SAN JOSE (March 31, 2017)- A deadly tragic car accident was reported Friday morning at the intersection of McEvoy Street and Park Avenue, per the San Jose Mercury News.
Authorities reported the incident had taken place at 7:39 a.m. involving a big rig and a vehicle occupied by a father and his daughter.
The vehicle described as a Pontiac Firebird occupied by a 41-year-old man identified as Bornking Moseley and his daughter had been traveling along one of the two streets. Their vehicle then collided with the big rig while its driver was being instructed to reverse into specific designated area by flagged construction crew members.
The vehicle became lodged underneath the big rig sadly causing fatal injuries to Bornking Moseley as he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The daughter miraculously was uninjured in the wreck likely because she had been sitting in the back seat. She was taken to the hospital for safety precaution before being confirmed that she was unharmed.
Specific circumstances remain unclear at this time regarding whether or not the Pontiac driver had a green light and why the truck had been reversing in an intersection during traffic hours in the morning. San Jose police officials will look thoroughly into the matter as Cal-OSHA had not immediately begun investigating the incident at the scene, per the San Jose Mercury.
We offer our warmest of thoughts, our prayers, and condolences to the family members of Bornking Moseley as they search for peace and comfort.
