Deadly Crash in San Jose at McKee Road Ramp to I-680 Freeway
SAN JOSE, Calif. (April 11, 2022) — A fatal San Jose crash happened Monday at the McKee Road on ramp to the northbound Interstate 680 Freeway.
The collision was discovered around 10:38 a.m. on April 11th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported at least one vehicle was involved in a fatal collision, but there are no further details at this time.
A vehicle reportedly went up the hillside and hit a tree, the report said. It’s unknown how many motorists were involved in the wreck.
The San Jose Fire Department responded to the scene and noted that the crash may have happened earlier. They found at least one person deceased at the scene and requested the coroner respond. Also, a single tow truck responded to remove the vehicle.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the fatal San Jose crash.
