1 Killed in Pedestrian Accident on South First Street
San Jose, CA (April 24, 2021) – On April 8, Thursday, a pedestrian suffered serious injuries following a suspected hit-and-run collision on South First Street.
The Mercury News reported a vehicle struck an individual in the 1100 block of South First Street. Shortly after 5 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the accident scene and found the pedestrian with life-threatening injuries.
Given that, an ambulance rushed the victim to a local hospital for treatment. On April 16, Friday, the patient succumbed to his injuries and died. Police continue to withhold the identity of the deceased pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.

Our sources indicated the driver involved in the unfortunate event fled the scene before police arrived. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect.
