1 Killed in San Jose Crash at Trimble and Zanker Roads
SAN JOSE, CA (May 11, 2021) – At least one was killed after a motorcycle crash at Trimble and Zanker roads in North San Jose.
According to The Mercury News and SF Gate, the tragic accident occurred on Tuesday night. Officers reported the wreck shortly before 8 p.m.
Police said a vehicle and a motorcycle rider collided for an unknown reason in San Jose. The two crashed at the intersection of Trimble and Zanker roads.
Motorcycle Involved in Collision Tuesday
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene. They then confirmed that one person died as a result of the collision.
The name of the deceased party remains unreleased pending notification of next of kin. Police did not mention if the victim was the motorcyclist or an occupant of the vehicle involved.
Meanwhile, officials forced the intersection of Trimble and Zanker to shut down for a time following the wreck. The cause of the fatal San Jose crash is still under investigation.
