Pedestrian Killed in San Jose Crash on Quito Road Near Northlawn Drive
SAN JOSE (December 17, 2018) – A pedestrian was killed after a traffic accident along Quito Road on Saturday evening, December 15, according to Mercury News.
The collision took place at around 6 p.m., a few blocks south of Westgate Center mall.
As per the article, California Highway Patrol said a female pedestrian was crossing Quito Road near Northlawn Drive when for an unknown reason she was struck by a 2018 Porsche.

The victim was found lying in the roadway suffering from major injuries as a result of the crash. She was immediately taken to a local hospital and where she later died.
Her name has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin. Meanwhile, the woman driving the car involved stopped after hitting the pedestrian and cooperated with the authorities.
The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
