Man Killed in San Jose Hit-and-Run Near Rigoletto Drive and Brahms Avenue
SAN JOSE, CA (August 22, 2021) – A pedestrian was killed after a hit-and-run crash near Rigoletto Drive and Brahms Avenue in San Jose.
According to The Mercury News and CBS San Francisco, the tragic accident took place early Sunday. Officers reported the incident at about 12:54 a.m.
The incident happened when a male pedestrian was walking across near the intersection of Rigoletto Drive and Brahms Avenue in San Jose. At the same time, a vehicle was going west on Rigoletto.
Police said the driver then struck the man for an unknown reason. Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and found him left lying on the ground.

The victim sustained life-threatening injuries as a result of the collision. Medical personnel soon pronounced him dead at the scene.
The name of the deceased man remains unreleased pending notification of next of kin. Meanwhile, police affirmed that the motorist did not stop to render aid to the pedestrian and fled the area.
They described the car as possibly a 2006-2008 Acura TSX 4-door sedan, with damage to the front-end. The fatal San Jose hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
