At Least 1 Injured in Hit-and-Run Accident on Highway 237

DATE OF COLLISION: Thursday, December 27th
December 27, 2018 – Injuries were reported following a suspected hit-and-run collision Thursday afternoon in the area of Highway 237 and North 1st Street.
Motorcycle Accident Thursday in San Jose
According to the California Highway Patrol group, a motorcyclist and another vehicle collided in the eastbound side of the highway at North 1st Street on-ramp.
Primary reports indicated the motorcyclist pulled over to the right-hand shoulder of the roadway following the crash, while the other motorist apparently drove away. Paramedics said the crash resulted in injuries, but the identity of the victim was not immediately disclosed.
Officials handling the case continue to determine several factors surrounding the hit-and-run accident.
