At Least 1 Hurt in Car Accident on Guadalupe Parkway Wednesday
San Jose, CA (November 20, 2021) – Two vehicles collided on State Route Highway 87 on November 17, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
Earlier reports indicated the wreck involved an SUV and a silver Volkswagen Jetta. For an unknown reason, the two automobiles crashed in the southbound side of Guadalupe Parkway near the Almaden Expressway offramp.
The CHP logged the case at approximately 11:30 a.m.

When rescue teams arrived at the location, they found the Volkswagen with major front-end damage. Meanwhile, the other vehicle apparently fled the scene following the crash.
Medical personnel rendered aid to the occupants of the Volkswagen. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed at least one person sustained injuries as a result of the accident. No immediate information was revealed on the victim.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate several factors surrounding the car crash on State Route 87 in San Jose.
