
Motorcyclist Injured in San Jose Crash
SAN JOSE, Calif. (Sept. 12, 2023) — A two-vehicle accident involving a motorcycle happened Tuesday on the northbound Highway 101 in San Jose, just south of Yerba Buena Road.
The collision occurred around 7:37 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 12th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the crash occurred in the middle two lanes and the rider went down in the No. 3 lane of the highway.
The driver in the black Chevrolet sedan stopped and a white Ford F-250 pickup truck pulled behind the downed rider to block the person from oncoming traffic.
Paramedics responded to treat the injured motorcyclist, but the injuries were considered to be minor. It’s unknown if the rider was taken to a hospital at this time.
The case remains under investigation to determine fault.
