
Motorcyclist Injured in San Jose Crash on Interstate 680 Freeway
SAN JOSE, Calif. (March 17, 2023) — A San Jose motorcycle accident happened Friday morning on the Interstate 680 Freeway, just north of Highway 101.
The two-vehicle crash occurred around 8:41 a.m. on March 17th in the northbound lanes of the I-680 Freeway, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch report.
An unidentified person riding a Ducati motorcycle collided with a second vehicle due to unknown circumstances, the report said.
Paramedics responded to the scene to help those injured in the crash. The motorcyclist suffered an ankle injury and was transported to Regional Medical Center for further treatment. There are no further details about the injured person at this time.
Meanwhile, a tow truck removed the Ducati motorcycle from the roadway.
Investigators with the CHP are working on the case and will determine fault for the San Jose motorcycle accident.
