Motorcyclist Hurt in Collision on the Interstate 280 Freeway
SAN JOSE, Calif. (May 9, 2022) — A San Jose motorcycle accident happened Monday morning on the Interstate 280 Freeway, just north of Race Street.
The collision occurred in the northbound No. 1 lane of the I-280 about 7:16 a.m. on May 9th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a beige sedan and a motorcycle collided due to unknown circumstances. The motorcycle rider became stuck underneath the vehicle and possibly, dragged, the report said.
The vehicle stopped and the rider was stuck under the vehicle. Paramedics and firefighters responded to the scene to help rescue the person, but it’s unknown at this time if they were taken to a hospital.
Meanwhile, tow trucks responded to remove both damaged vehicles from the scene of the San Jose motorcycle accident.
