Motorcyclist Injured in Crash on Interstate 800 Freeway
SAN JOSE, Calif. (Oct. 6, 2021) — A San Jose motorcycle accident happened Wednesday on the northbound Interstate 880 Freeway near the Bascom Avenue on ramp.
The traffic collision happened about 8:46 a.m. on Oct. 6th between the black 2013 Harley Davidson Electric motorcycle and another motorist, according to the California Highway Patrol.

It’s unknown if the two vehicles collided as the dispatch mentions the rider swerved to avoid a collision, the CHP said. The bike went down in the No. 2 and 3 lanes and the rider got themselves to the center divider following the motorcycle crash.
Meanwhile, paramedics responded and transported the injured motorcyclist to Santa Clara Valley Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
The cause of the San Jose motorcycle accident and liability are under investigation by the CHP.
