1 Hospitalized After Collision on Interstate 880 Wednesday
San Jose, CA (October 6, 2021) – A traffic accident involving a motorcycle rider occurred on the Interstate 880 Freeway Wednesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
Earlier reports indicated the motorcyclist collided with another vehicle in the northbound side of the freeway in San Jose. The crash took place near Bascom Avenue onramp.
Shortly after 8:45 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. First responders the rider standing near the center divider of the highway; while the motorbike crashed down in the middle of the traffic lanes.

Paramedics rendered aid to the motorcyclist, then transferred them to the Valley Medical Center for treatment. The name of the patient and their condition at this time remained undisclosed.
At this time, detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate the precise cause of the motorcycle accident on 880 Freeway in San Jose.
