Major Injury Collision on Interstate 880
San Jose, CA (September 18, 2022) – At least one person suffered serious injuries following a traffic accident that occurred Saturday on the Interstate 880 Freeway.
Auto vs. Motorcycle Accident Near Highway 101 in San Jose
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, a motorcyclist collided with a white Mercedes-Benz car in the northbound side of the 880 Freeway. Officials mentioned the crash happened near the connecting ramp from State Route Highway 101 in San Jose.
Emergency crews responded to the accident scene shortly after 2:55 p.m. When medical personnel arrived, they immediately rendered aid to the rider found suffering in injuries. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed the motorcyclist sustained major trauma as a result of the incident.
Detectives handling the case continue to investigate several unclear factors surrounding the crash; that happened on Interstate 880 in San Jose.
