SAN JOSE: Motorcycle Crash on McKean Road at Country View Drive
HOLLISTER GILROY, Calif., (Sept. 29, 2026) — A crash involving a Suzuki motorcycle and a four-door Audi resulted in major injuries Tuesday afternoon at McKean Road and Country View Drive.
The incident occurred on Sept. 29th near the address 22700 McKean Road at approximately 3:09 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP). Initial reports indicated the collision involved a Suzuki motorcycle and an Audi vehicle, with the latter sustaining major damage to its left rear side.
Emergency services, including paramedics and fire personnel, were promptly dispatched to the scene. A park ranger was reportedly one of the first on-site, while the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office provided additional support. The injured rider was transported to Valley Medical Center (VMC) for treatment, as noted by the responding officers.
Authorities have classified the incident as a major injury collision, and the investigation is currently underway. The CHP is requesting any witnesses to come forward to aid in their investigation.
