SAN JOSE: Multi-Vehicle Collision on Highway 85 Near Camden Avenue

SAN JOSE, Calif., (June 10, 2026) — A three-vehicle collision in San Jose involved a motorcyclist early Wednesday morning on northbound Highway 85 just south of the Camden Avenue offramp, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The June 10th incident was initially reported at approximately 6:58 a.m. and involved the motorcycle, a green Subaru Outback, and a black Toyota Corolla. The collision reportedly blocked lanes and resulted in a motorcycle rider being thrown to the ground, sustaining major injuries. The CHP log indicated that the crash severity was upgraded to a major injury collision by 7:44 a.m.
Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene, and paramedics attended to the injured motorcycle rider. Additional information regarding the condition of other individuals involved in the crash has yet to be disclosed.
The collision prompted the request for tow services to clear the damaged vehicles from the roadway. Traffic flow in the area was disrupted as units worked to manage the scene and assist those affected.
