
SAN JOSE, Calif. (Feb. 6, 2023) — A driver in a black vehicle struck a pedestrian in a crosswalk in an accident on the South Jackson Avenue on ramp to the Interstate 680 Freeway in San Jose.
The pedestrian accident occurred about 7:04 a.m. on Feb. 6th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP reported a pedestrian was “in a crosswalk prior to being struck by the vehicle.” The San Jose Police Department and CHP officers responded.
The person suffered undisclosed injuries in the collision. Authorities requested an ambulance respond to the scene, but there are no further details about the condition of the pedestrian.
Also, it’s unknown if there are any witnesses to the collision.
Police closed down the on ramp to conduct an investigation into the San Jose pedestrian accident.
