2 Injured in San Jose Pedestrian Crash at Larkspur Canyon and Stony Creek
SAN JOSE, CA (March 20, 2023) – Two were injured after a pedestrian crash at Larkspur Canyon Drive and Stony Creek Place in San Jose.
According to the East Bay Times and CBS San Francisco, the accident took place on Monday afternoon. Officers reported the collision on March 20 at around 4:40 p.m.
San Jose police said a vehicle struck two pedestrians for an unknown reason in the city. The driver hit them at the intersection of Larkspur Canyon Drive and Stony Creek Place.
Victims Hit by Vehicle
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found both victims hurt. One of them sustained life-threatening injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel rushed the patient to a hospital and listed them in critical condition. The other pedestrian survived the San Jose accident with non-life-threatening injuries.
The reports did not disclose the names of the wounded parties. Meanwhile, police did not mention if the motorist stopped or stayed at the site following the incident.
Officers forced the area of Larkspur Canyon and Stony Creek to shut down after the collision. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
