Man Hit and Injured by Vehicle at Meridian and Foxworthy Avenue
San Jose, CA (November 7, 2022) – A pedestrian suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred in the area of Meridian and Foxworthy Avenue, the NBC News reported.
Officials said a male party attempted to cross the intersection outside of a crosswalk. While walking in the middle of the roadway, a passing motorist did not notice and struck the man. The collision took place Monday around 5:54 p.m.
Pedestrian Hospitalized After Crash in San Jose
When medical personnel arrived at the crash site, they immediately rendered aid to the injured pedestrian. Given the serious condition of the victim, paramedics decided to transfer the victim to a hospital for further treatment. Authorities continue to withhold personal information on the patient pending confirmation.
