Pedestrian Seriously Injured in San Jose Crash on Bolero Drive
SAN JOSE, CA (March 8, 2022) – A pedestrian was seriously injured after a crash on Bolero Drive in the city of San Jose.
According to the KRON 4 News and CBS San Francisco, the accident took place on Tuesday night. Officers reported the collision at around 9:40 p.m.
San Jose police said the incident happened when a vehicle struck the pedestrian for an unknown reason in the city. The car hit the person in the 4600 block of Bolero Drive.
Victim Hit by Car
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene near Continental Drive. They found the victim who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel took the patient to a hospital for treatment. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the driver stopped, stayed at the site and cooperated with the officials. Officers forced a stretch of Bolero Drive to shut down following the incident.
The cause of the San Jose pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
