Pedestrian Injured in San Jose Crash Near Pearl and Edenbury

SAN JOSE, CA (March 2, 2023) – A pedestrian was hospitalized after a crash near Pearl Avenue and Edenbury Lane in San Jose.

According to the NBC Bay Area and KRON 4 News, the accident took place on Thursday morning. Officers reported the collision on March 2 at around 11:30 a.m.

San Jose police said the incident happened when a vehicle struck the pedestrian for an unknown reason in the city. The driver hit the person near the intersection of Pearl Avenue and Edenbury Lane.

Victim Hit by Vehicle

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found the victim who sustained non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the collision.

Medical personnel rushed the patient to a hospital for treatment and listed them in stable condition. The reports did not disclose the name of the wounded party.

Meanwhile, police added that the motorist stopped and stayed at the site following the incident. Officers forced the area of Pearl and Edenbury to shut down for a time after the accident.

The cause of the San Jose pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
