Pedestrian Critically Injured in San Jose Hit-and-Run Near Senter and Southside
SAN JOSE, CA (January 7, 2022) – A pedestrian was critically injured after a hit-and-run crash near Senter Road and Southside Drive in San Jose.
According to The Mercury News and KTVU News, the accident took place on Friday night. Officers reported the collision at about 8:30 p.m.
Police said two vehicles struck the pedestrian for an unknown reason. The drivers hit the person near the intersection of Senter Road and Southside Drive in San Jose.
Victim Hit by 2 Vehicles
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and found the victim left lying on the ground. He sustained life-threatening injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel soon rushed the patient to a hospital and listed them in critical condition. The reports did not disclose the name of the wounded party.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the motorists did not stop to render aid and fled the area. Officers forced the corner of Senter Road and Southside Drive to shut down following the incident.
The cause of the San Jose hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
