Pedestrian Injured in San Jose Hit-and-Run Near Umbarger and Senter Roads
SAN JOSE, CA (October 4, 2021) – A pedestrian was hospitalized after a hit-and-run crash near Umbarger and Senter roads in San Jose.
According to the East Bay Times and KRON 4 News, the accident took place on Monday night. Officers reported the collision at about 8:15 p.m.
Police said a vehicle struck the pedestrian for an unknown reason. The driver hit the person near the intersection of Umbarger and Senter roads in San Jose .
Victim Hit by Vehicle
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found the victim left suffering from life-threatening injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel rushed the patient to a hospital and listed them in stable condition. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the motorist did not stop to render aid and then fled the area. Officers forced the intersection of Umbarger and Senter roads to shut down following the collision.
The cause of the San Jose hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
