SAN JOSE, California (October 6, 2016) — According to the San Jose Mercury News, Urbano Castillo-Mentado, 25, of San Jose, has been identified as the man killed in a DUI crash Thursday morning, October 6th,
The fatal crash took place at approximately 3:17 a.m. when the driver of a 2002 Toyota Avalon identified as Arianna Rabago, 19, lost control of the vehicle as the vehicle overturned at the McKee Road off-ramp.
Rabago was ejected from the vehicle while her passenger, Castillo-Mentado, remained inside.
Paramedics arrived at the crash site and sadly pronounced the 25-year-old San Jose man deceased.
Rabago was moderately injured and transported to Regional Medical Center, where she was treated. The 19-year-old teen was given a blood alcohol test in which she failed. She faces charges of DUI and vehicular manslaughter.
