Major Injury Traffic Collision on State Route 25 Friday
San Juan Bautista, CA (July 9, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a motorcycle accident that occurred on State Route 25 Friday afternoon.
Officials said a motorcyclist was traveling on the right-hand shoulder of the highway. The collision happened when the rider swerved to avoid collision with a blue Honda car. According to the article published online, the Honda that attempted to pass a left-turning vehicle, leading to the crash.
The motorcycle rider ended up veering off the roadway. Per local news source, the man slammed into a pole along State Route 25 near Bolsa Road.

Shortly after 5:35 p.m., medical personnel arrived at the site and rendered aid to all possible victims. Authorities confirmed the motorcyclist sustained major injuries; including a broken left leg, and lacerations and road rash to their left arm.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the driver of the blue Honda car involved in the wreck.
Investigators continue to work at this time to determine several factors surrounding the car and motorcycle accident in San Juan Bautista.
