Vehicle Overturned in San Leandro Accident, 880 Freeway
San Leandro, Calif. (August 1, 2023) — A car accident happened Tuesday afternoon in San Leandro California along the Interstate 880 Freeway near Davis Street on ramp.
The collision occurred about 1:54 p.m. on August 1st, near Davis Street on ramp in Alameda County according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
San Leandro Crash 880 Freeway
A Honda Civic, a Dodge Challenger, a silver Toyota RAV4, a black Toyota Corolla and an unknown vehicle all were involved in the accident on the Interstate 880 Freeway. Also, the black Toyota Corolla overturned and landed on its roof. The fire department and the ambulance were requested on the scene. A female involved in the accident exited her vehicle and was reported to be bleeding from the face. Furthermore, the paramedics immediately responded to help her and others that were injured in the collision.
Meanwhile, multiple tow trucks were needed on the freeway to remove the damaged cars and overturned vehicle from the Interstate 880.
Finally, investigators are continuing to work on the case to determine fault who is at fault for the accident in San Leandro on the 880 Freeway.
