Major Injury Collision on Worthley Drive Wednesday
San Lorenzo, CA (January 26, 2022) – At least one person suffered serious injuries following a traffic crash that occurred on Worthley Drive Wednesday.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, a big rig and a forklift collided in the 16505 block of Worthley Drive. Earlier reports indicated the force from the impact caused the forklift to overturn inside a private property. Officials believed the forklift was off-loading from the big rig when the accident happened.
Medical personnel arrived at the site shortly after 9:25 a.m. Responding paramedics rendered aid to all possible victims in the collision. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed at least one person sustained major trauma as a result of the wreck. An ambulance transported the the patient to the hospital for further treatment and evaluation.
Detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the accident on Worthley Drive in San Lorenzo.
