Multi-Vehicle Crash on the I-880 Freeway in San Lorenzo
SAN LORENZO, Calif. (June 14, 2022) — A multi-vehicle crash in San Lorenzo on the Interstate 880 Freeway happened Tuesday morning, just south of Paseo Grande.
The traffic accident occurred on the southbound I-880 around 8:21 a.m. on June 14th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers involved include a white Ford Transit van, a white glass truck, a green Honda Accord and a gray Honda. The transit van suffered moderate rear-end damage and required a tow truck. It’s unknown at this time what led up to the collision, but all motorists except the van managed to move over to the right shoulder, police said.
Police requested an ambulance for at least one person with complaints or pain or an injury, but there are no further details.
Finally, an investigation is underway to determine fault for the San Lorenzo crash.
