SAN LORENZO, California (July 13, 2016) — A motorcycle rider was injured in a collision with a car Wednesday morning on the southbound Interstate 880 Freeway at the Hesperian Boulevard on ramp, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The crash took place about 7:36 a.m. this morning between a blue Toyota Avalon and a black motorcycle in the HOV and No. 1 lanes. The rider was speaking to others at the scene about the crash as he rested in the center divider awaiting paramedics. There were three other motorcycles stopped in the No. 1 lane following the crash.
