SAN LUIS OBISPO, California (June 3, 2014) – A bicyclist, a Ford Ranger pickup truck and a Sparklets water truck collided Tuesday morning on the US 101 Freeway at Stage Coach Road, according to a dispatch by the California Highway Patrol.
About 8:08 a.m., CHP officers and paramedics with an ambulance responded to the crash and say that one vehicle had overturned onto its side and there was debris in the Nos. 2 and 3 lanes, police said.
Tow trucks responded to remove the vehicles from the scene of the crash.
“Hopefully no one was seriously injured in this crash,” said Attorney James Johnson. “Police will investigate the accident to determine fault and whether any charges will be filed.”
