Suspected DUI Driver Arrested after Crash in San Luis Obispo
SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. (Jan. 26, 2024) — A suspected drunken driver was arrested Thursday night after a two-vehicle car accident on Santa Barbara Avenue in San Luis Obispo.
The collision, involving three motorists, occurred at around 10 p.m. on Jan. 25th, according to the San Luis Obispo Police Department.
The suspect reportedly collided with two other motorists in the downtown area of Thursday night, according to KSBY.
Paramedics responded and rushed one of the drivers to the hospital with moderate to severe injuries, but the person is expected to survive. It appears there were no other injuries at this time.
Police later arrested the driver on DUI charges after the accident on Santa Barbara Avenue.
