Pedestrian Badly Injured in San Luis Obispo Crash at Santa Rosa and Mill
SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA (September 1, 2022) – A crash left a pedestrian badly injured at Santa Rosa and Mill streets in San Luis Obispo.
According to The Tribune and KSBY News, the accident took place on Wednesday evening. Officers reported the collision on August 31 at around 5 p.m.
The incident happened when a 26-year-old San Luis Obispo woman was crossing Santa Rosa Street to go east on Mill Street in the city.
At the same time, a vehicle was traveling south on Santa Rosa. San Luis Obispo police said in the process the driver struck the pedestrian in the intersection.

The victim was in the crosswalk when the driver hit her. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found the victim hurt.
The patient sustained moderate injuries as a result of the accident. Medical personnel then rushed her to a hospital for treatment.
The report did not release the name of the wounded party and her condition at this time. Meanwhile, police added that the motorist stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the woman.
Officers forced the area of Santa Rosa and Mill streets to shut down following the incident. The cause of the San Luis Obispo pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
