Man, 80, Hit and Injured by Vehicle at Tank Farm Road and Morning Glory Way
San Luis Obispo, CA (July 17, 2022) – An 80-year-old man suffered injuries following a pedestrian accident that occurred at the intersection of Tank Farm Road and Morning Glory Way.
The Tribune, and KSBY News reported a vehicle struck a male party at the crossing in San Luis Obispo. Per local news source, an 80-year-old man was walking from the south sidewalk of Tank Farm. While in the middle of the roadway, an oncoming vehicle struck the pedestrian.
The collision resulted in major injuries to the man. Due to the condition of the victim, an ambulance transported him to the hospital for further treatment and evaluation. Personal information on the patient remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the driver involved in the crash.
The Severe Collision Investigative Detail (SCID) responded to the scene and took over the investigation process. Detectives continue to work at this time to determine liability in the pedestrian accident that happened at Tank Farm Road and Morning Glory Way.
