Pedestrian Badly Injured in San Luis Obispo Crash at Toro and Buchon
SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA (March 20, 2023) – A pedestrian was badly injured after a crash at Toro Street and Buchon Street in San Luis Obispo.
The KSBY News and KEYT News wrote that the collision took place on Monday evening. Officers reported the accident on March 20 at about 7:48 p.m.
San Luis Obispo police said for an unknown reason, a car struck the pedestrian in the city. The vehicle struck the person at the intersection of Toro and Buchon streets.
Victim Hit by Car
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found the victim who ended up suffering from moderate injuries as a result of the incident.
Medical personnel then rushed the patient to a hospital for treatment. The reports did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, police added that the driver stopped and stayed at the site following the accident. Officers forced the area of Toro and Buchon streets to shut down after the collision.
The cause of the San Luis Obispo pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
