Minor Injuries in 2-Vehicle San Marcos Crash
SAN MARCOS, Calif. (Nov. 16, 2021) — A San Marcos crash involving two vehicles Tuesday morning happened on the eastbound Highway 78, just west of the Interstate 15 Freeway.
The San Marcos crash happened about 7:40 a.m. on Nov. 16th at the San Diego County intersection, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP reported a driver in a silver Chrysler 300 allegedly rear-ended a Mercedes Benz due to unknown circumstances on SR-78 also known as Ronald Packard Parkway.
At least one person suffered minor injuries in the collision. Paramedics responded and transported someone by ambulance to a local hospital.
A tow truck came to remove the damaged Mercedes from the San Marcos highway.
It’s unknown if a second tow truck removed the Chrysler or not.
Meanwhile, investigators with the CHP will determine fault for the San Marcos crash.
