2-Vehicle Car Accident on Ronald Packard Parkway
SAN DIEGO COUNTY, Calif. (August 17, 2023) — A two-vehicle crash in San Marcos happened Thursday on Highway 78 at Twin Oaks Valley Road.
The rollover crash occurred in the westbound lanes of Ronald Packard Parkway (SR-78) around 1:45 p.m. on August 17th, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
A pickup truck towing a trailer overturned onto its side during the collision. Some good Samaritans stopped to help the person by breaking windows on the vehicle to help them get out.
Paramedics responded to help those hurt in the crash, but there are no specific details.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed the damaged truck and its trailer from the freeway.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault.
