Motorcyclist Injured in Car Accident in San Marcos on Highway 78
SAN MARCOS, Calif. (March 20, 2024) — A car versus motorcycle accident happened Wednesday morning on State Route 78 at the Twin Oaks Valley Road North on ramp in San Marcos.
The two-vehicle collision occurred on the northbound SR-78 at around 6:58 a.m. on March 20th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The motorcyclist went down in the slow lane after being hit by a driver in a gray truck. The circumstances leading up to the crash are unknown at this time.
Paramedics responded to help the injured motorcycle rider, but it’s unknown if the person was taken to a hospital.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the motorcycle accident on State Route 78 in San Marcos.
