Motorcyclist Hurt in San Marcos Parking Lot Crash
SAN MARCOS, Calif. (June 29, 2020) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured Sunday night in a collision with a car in a Fry’s Electronics parking lot in San Marcos.
The motorcycle accident was reported just after 6:15 p.m. on Sunday, June 29th on South Bent Avenue, between Grand Avenue and West San Marcos Boulevard, according to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department.
The 23-year-old motorcyclist was traveling northbound in the parking lot when a driver pulled out and the rider struck the driver’s side door of the westbound two-door Acura sedan. The rider was ejected from the bike and suffered serious injuries.
Paramedics rushed the injured rider to a hospital for treatment of non- life-threatening serious injuries, police said.
There were no other reported injuries and alcohol was not a factor.
