Teenager Hospitalized After Collision on Woodward Street Tuesday
San Marcos, CA (January 26, 2022) – A 19-year-old pedestrian suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on Woodward Street on January 25.
According to Oside News, a 23-year-old woman was traveling in the streets of San Marcos Tuesday morning. When the vehicle approached the 600 block of Woodward Street, it struck a male party who entered the roadway.
The collision took place shortly after 11 a.m.
When rescue teams arrived at the location, they found the pedestrian with serious injuries. The San Marcos Fire Department Paramedics rushed the patient to Palomar Hospital for treatment and further evaluation. Pending confirmation, the name of the victim remained undisclosed.
Meanwhile, officials mentioned the driver involved in the crash appeared unharmed. The female motorist stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation process.
Detectives continue to work at this time to determine several unclear factors surrounding the pedestrian accident on Woodward Street in San Marcos.
