SAN MARINO, California (April 6, 2017) – A woman was severely injured after being struck on Huntington Drive Tuesday afternoon, according to Pasadena Star-News.
The accident was reported at approximately 2:50 p.m. in front of Chase Bank.
As per the article, police said a 51-year-old San Marino woman was hit and found pinned underneath a car which was up against an ATM.
The victim was transported to Huntington Memorial Hospital with serious injuries to the lower half of her body. Her name and condition at this time remained unknown.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the 69-year-old Pasadena woman driving the vehicle mistakenly stepped on the gas pedal instead of the brakes. Her car jump the curb and struck the woman.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the incident.
