1 Killed in San Martin Crash on Middle Avenue Near Center Avenue
SAN MARTIN, CA (May 15, 2022) – At least one was killed after a crash on Middle Avenue near Center Avenue in San Martin.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the tragic accident took place on Sunday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 12:52 p.m.
CHP said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in San Martin. They crashed at 1745 East Middle Avenue between Center Avenue and Lauredo Court.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They confirmed that one person died as a result of the collision.
The name of the deceased party has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin. The report did not mention if any other individual ended up hurt following the incident.
Meanwhile, CHP forced a stretch of Middle Avenue to shut down for a time after the wreck. The cause of the fatal San Martin crash is still under investigation.
