Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in San Gregorio Crash on Madera Lane
SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA (April 16, 2023) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash on Madera Lane in San Gregorio.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place on Sunday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck on April 16 at about 1:31 p.m.
The incident happened when the rider of a Ducati motorcycle and a blue Toyota Highlander collided in San Mateo County.
CHP said for an unknown reason, the two crashed at 204 Madera Lane near Highway 84 in the San Gregorio community.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found the motorcyclist down on the ground.
The patient ended up suffering from major injuries as a result of the collision. Medical personnel then rushed the victim to a hospital for treatment.
The report did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, officers did not mention if the driver of the car stopped or stayed at the site following the wreck.
CHP forced a stretch of Madera Lane to shut down after the crash. The cause of the San Gregorio accident is still under investigation.
