Double Motorcycle Crash on Highway 1 Saturday
San Mateo, CA (April 3, 2021) – Two motorcycle riders suffered injuries following a traffic accident on Highway 1, according to KRON4 News.
The collision took place Saturday afternoon.
Earlier reports indicated two motorcyclists crashed on Highway 1 near Gazos Creek in San Mateo. The model of the motorbikes involved in the accident remained unknown at this time.
2 Hospitalized After Motorcycle Accident in San Mateo, April 3
Shortly after 5 p.m., medical personnel arrived and checked the conditions of all parties found at the site. After the evaluation, paramedics confirmed the two motorcycle rider suffered injuries as a result of the wreck. Due to the severity of their trauma, the two patients had to be transported to the hospital for treatment.
Police continue to withhold the identities of the patients pending confirmation.
Investigators handling the case continue to work at this time to determine exactly how and why the double motorcycle accident in San Mateo happened.
