SAN MIGUEL, California (Oct. 23, 2017) – At least one person was killed Monday morning when two vehicles struck a truck that was reportedly sideways blocking lanes on the southbound US 101 Freeway, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The crash took place at 6:13 a.m. this morning near the Camp Roberts Northbound Rest Area. The crash involved a white Ford pickup truck that crashed into a guardrail and was sideways. A woman was found unconscious after the crash in her Honda Accord. A semi-tractor trailer truck may have also been involved or was pulled over near the crash scene. The details of the crash are not fully known at this point. The CHP is heading up the investigation into liability.
