3-Vehicle Crash on I-80 in San Pablo, Contra Costa County
CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, Calif. (Dec. 13, 2021) — A multi-vehicle San Pablo crash happened Monday, Dec. 13th on the westbound Interstate 80 Freeway near McBryde Avenue, the CHP reported.
The San Pablo crash on the 80 Freeway involved three vehicles including a silver 2022 Toyota Corolla, a white Ford F-150 pickup truck and a silver Honda SUV due to unknown circumstances.
The vehicles blocked the fast and middle lanes of the I-80 Freeway in Contra Costa County.
Rear-end Crash on I-80
The Honda suffered rear-end damage and the Ford pickup had front-end damage due to the crash. Tow trucks removed both vehicles from the crash scene. It’s unknown if the third vehicle suffered damage in the crash at this time.
Meanwhile, paramedics responded after reports of minor injuries. They transported at least one person to a hospital for undisclosed injuries.
Investigators with the CHP are heading up an investigation into liability for the San Pablo crash on the 80 Freeway.
