Motorist Sufferers Injuries to Head and Torso Following Collision
SAN RAMON (December 19, 2018)- According to the California Highway Patrol, an injurious 2-car collision was reported this morning at Norris Canyon Road and Ashbourne Drive.
At around 7:50 a.m., authorities were notified of a collision between an alleged Toyota Corolla and a second undisclosed vehicle.
Limited details were provided in regards what happened as the fire department was dispatched to the crash site to assist at least one injured victim with apparent injuries to both their head and torso.
The injured motorist was eventually taken away via ambulance to Kaiser Hospital located in Walnut Creek.
Authorities remained at the scene for over two hours as the on-scene investigation was still ongoing as of 9:49 a.m.
