Pedestrian Injured in San Ramon Car Accident
SAN RAMON, Calif. (August 30, 2021) — A San Ramon pedestrian accident happened early Monday on the Interstate Highway 680.
A driver struck and killed the pedestrian as they walked across the southbound lanes of Interstate Highway 680.
Fatal Crash August 30th in San Ramon
The collision happened about 12:55 a.m. on Monday, August 30th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Police closed down the southbound lanes of the highway at Bollinger Canyon Road, the CHP said.
The San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District also responded, but sadly the person died due to major injuries.
Meanwhile, it’s unknown how long the road closure will be and the name of the victim will be released upon notification of famiNo estimate was provided for when the roadway will reopen.
