Man Hit and Killed by Several Vehicles Near Beyer Boulevard
San Ysidro, CA (February 5, 2023) – One person died following a pedestrian accident that occurred on the Interstate 805 Freeway, the FOX5 and San Diego Union-Tribune News reported.
Officials said a male party was seen walking along the southbound side of the freeway in San Ysidro. When the pedestrian approached the area near Beyer Boulevard, he attempted to cross and was struck by several passing cars.
The horrible rash took place on February 3, Friday.
Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 805 in San Ysidro
Shortly after 8:55 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. Responding paramedics performed life-saving measures to the victim but he sadly succumbed to his injuries and passed away. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
According to the article published online, at least one driver, a 20-year-old San Diego woman, stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation process. Detectives handling the case continue to work to determine the precise cause of the deadly accident that happened on Interstate 805 in San Ysidro.
