Man Hit and Injured by Vehicle Near East Beyer Boulevard
San Ysidro, CA (May 28, 2022) – A 40-year-old man suffered injuries following a pedestrian accident that occurred on Mesa Avenue.
The San Diego Union-Tribune published an article online reporting an accident that occurred Wednesday morning near East Beyer Boulevard. Officials said a Ford F-150 pickup struck an individual in the 300 block of Mesa Avenue in San Ysidro.

Shortly after 3:45 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. Responding paramedics attended to the pedestrian found with serious injuries. An ambulance transported the patient to an area hospital for treatment of serious trauma including leg injury, and brain bleed. Personal information on the injured party remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
The driver of the Ford appeared unharmed after the crash.
Detectives continue to work at this time to determine liability in the pedestrian accident that happened on Mesa Avenue in Sa Ysidro.
